Roland Deines is a Professor for New Testament Studies which by his definition includes the world of Ancient Judaism.

He was born and trained as a theologian in Germany and joined the department at the University of Nottingham in 2006.

If any time can be saved from reading, writing, teaching and other professional duties, he likes to travel in the wake of the ancient Greeks and Romans.
